The Glory: After the storm!!!

Featured imageLIFE….

THAT’S LIFE….

IT HAPPENS….

THESE ARE ALL PHRASES THAT WE HEAR ON A REGULAR BASIS AS WE GO THROUGH LIFE!

When I look at a storm, it looks chaotic, out of control, full of pressure and destruction! Many times this is how life feels, chaotic, out of control, full of pressure and even some time destructive and more than unbearable. This is how we as people have a tendency to feel as the storm increases. We wait and wait for the worse part of the storm to pass but just when you think it is over it takes longer than what we think to pass over. So now we are on a time schedule and I can honestly say this is more of the most difficult characteristics to develop; PATIENCE! A storm doesn’t tell us, I’ll be over in a minute, or give me 30 minutes and I’ll be out your way, you don’t know the day or time that it will end but you watch in inner turmoil as PERSISTS…however your still DEVELOPING PATIENCE, so you wait!

BUT…today… I want to take a moment and enlighten you as well as your perspective on the issues of STORMS!! My hope is to switch your perspective and help you look at storms from a different angle in your life!!

But before I began to explain, I have a QUESTION for you, WHAT IF YOUR STORM WAS CREATED, PERMITTED ALLOWED EVEN FOR A PURPOSE?

What if the very storm that you fear is/was created to help you grow, mature, embrace your self, learn something about someone else or produce more love! What if the storm was designed to help you? What if you were chosen for the storm because it wasn’t to break you but strengthen you and actually show you how strong you actually are! Interesting!

I heard it stated many times, ” you never know how strong you are until being strong is all you have to be!”

I sincerely believe that life has storms and that the greatest thing that affects us doing the storm is our perspective of what is actually taking place! What if we changed our outlook about the storm and looked at it to be something that is actually producing greater unknown qualities in us that we have yet to discover! Even so, what if it is also helping others around us to see how strong, calm, or tranquil we are in the midst of the storm! Would you handle the situation a little differently! It would most definitely change how we handle the storm while going through.

See today, when I looked at this picture above, I was reminded that every storm has a time of completion, even if I am not aware of the time it will end! There is a rainbow after the storm, there is peace and joy after! Then you must look back and think about the situation and smile knowing that you stood in the storm, not moved and stronger than what you were before! I am here to tell you that their is light at the end of the tunnel, bright light, bold light!

So please remember the storm may be raging but if you change your perspective about the storm, it is not always what it looks like!!!
